A BIT ABOUT ME

I’m Ali Robinson, founder and head coach at BAR Athletic.

I coach busy, driven people who want to be strong, healthy, and confident without their entire life revolving around fitness.

Not perfection.
Not extremes.
Just intelligent training, sustainable nutrition, and structure that works in the real world.

WHY I GET IT

As well as coaching, I've spent years working in demanding corporate environments as a senior change manager - juggling deadlines, expectations, long hours, and competing priorities.

I also know what it’s like to:

  • Have the intention to train, but no energy left

  • Put yourself last while looking after everyone else

  • Start plans that don’t survive real life

 

On top of that, I’m a mum of two school-aged kids.

So when I say I understand time pressure, fatigue, and competing responsibilities... I genuinely do.

WHY I'M QUALIFIED TO COACH YOU

My background spans both performance and practicality.

 

I’m:

  • An accredited nutritionist and personal trainer

  • A competitive bodybuilder at the professional level

  • Someone who has trained across multiple disciplines before finding what actually works long term

Bodybuilding taught me discipline, structure, and commitment.
Life taught me that those things are useless unless they’re sustainable.

That combination is exactly how I coach.

MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY

I don’t believe in:

  • All-or-nothing approaches

  • Generic plans

  • Chasing motivation

 

I do believe in:

  • Structure that adapts to your life

  • Evidence-based strategies

  • Accountability without guilt or pressure

  • Building strength - physically and mentally

 

You don’t need another diet to follow or workout to try.


You need a clear plan, tailored to you, with someone in your corner.

That’s where I come in.
